Using Accounts Receivable

The Accounts Receivable module allows you to manage and generate your company's statements, track client balances, and enter and distribute payments and write-offs.

Use Accounts Receivable to do the following:

  • Enter payments, credit and debit memos and adjustments, write-offs, and miscellaneous charges.
  • Import transaction information for transactions that are outside the normal billing and invoicing workflow.
  • Enter details about payments, such as the bank used for deposits, the method of payment, and reference information.
  • Post accounts receivable transactions.
  • Correct or void posted AR transactions.
  • Calculate finance charges for late payments.
  • Distribute payments automatically or manually against invoices and finance charges.
  • Generate and print statements for internal processes or to use when billing clients.
